For the project "Design Hero", I chose to research Gail Anderson because of her strong catalog and influence in the design world. I made an instagram slide carousel inspired by all aspects of her work, including bright colors, experimental text, and large glyphs. I designed a short animation for the first slide that focuses on a stamp and used stamp shapes in the static slides because she designed the 150th anniversary stamp for the emancipation proclamation, which is her personal favorite work. I also used experimental typography that is a signature in many of her poster designs with the School of Visual Arts NYC.
