I designed a two spread feature story on an imagined town in North Florida. I created the town of Dame Lake and the music festival that brought the town back from economic ruin, Grove Sound. I used photos found online and AI generated text for the stories. The headlines are all hand lettered and vectorized on Adobe Illustrator by me. I wanted to create an editorial rolling stone feel for my spreads and used dark, moody photos, with the first spread featuring only the large dominate photo. I utilized the ripped paper to create a unique texture in my design and make the whole story feel very grunge and underground.
